Jancey Wickstrom


In her 18 years as a clinician and leader in the therapy field, Jancey (she/her) has developed a passion for creating connection and reconnection. On the individual, relational, and community level, Jancey advocates for emotional awareness that drives values-based living.

Jancey worked in leadership roles implementing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy training programs across residential programs, and she opened and directed the Renfrew eating disorder program in Chicagoland. She spent 5 years as an Assistant Instructional Faculty member at University of Chicago's Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy and Practice. Her focus was educating master's students on foundational Social Work clinical skills as well as more in depth instruction in DBT, ACT, and the Unified Protocol. She is now in private practice in Chicago.
