Leadership skills and a solid conceptual framework are essential to probe challenging questions about the environment and market, and to navigate the organizational change process. Emerging and current leaders can use a framework rooted in the dynamic environment and a toolbox of skills.
Dynamic environmental and market factors require organizations to manage strategically and focus on organizational change. Strategic change management and leadership, including strategic planning, can help an organization be proactive in identifying and analyzing market trends and in managing the change process that can include service shifts and repositioning necessary to be successful in a new or emerging environment.
Strategic change management includes a strong market analysis to identify emerging and current trends and a strong internal assessment to determine organizational fit with the emerging and changing market context. Leadership skills are essential to probe challenging questions about the environment and market and to navigate the organizational change process.
This interactive session will include case examples, application to a participant’s organization and specific strategic planning tools that participants can use in managing the strategic change process.
