Jennifer Meade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Director of the School Social Work Program at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. A passionate advocate for children, families, and the people who support them, Jennifer now focuses her efforts on training, mentoring, and capacity building for current and future social workers and the communities in which they live and work.
Jennifer is a Lecturer at the Crown Family School and teaches courses on Public School Systems and Populations, The Exceptional Child, and Social Work Policy and Practice. Her fields of special interest include: school social work, special education, family support, chronic illness, school-community partnerships, educational leadership coaching, and capacity-building.
